Back in August, I realized something about the refrain in "Jesus Loves Me."  The tune, which is also titled "Jesus Loves Me," contains two cross inscriptions:

The text is:

Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
The Bible tells me so.

"Jesus loves me" and "Bible tells me" are what are sung to these cross inscriptions, so there's a musical illustration of how "Jesus loves me" and what the "Bible tells me," namely the crucifixion.
